Stefano Paterna worked after his business studies for various European banks, before he made his two passions, traveling and photography into a profession. He visited University of the Arts in London where he received his photographic training and then went to India to work in Mumbai for commercial and fashion photographer Prasad Naik. But the keen german traveler with Italian roots wanted more. Inspired by the beauty and diversity of the world which he rediscovered again and again with the help of his camera. In 2006 he decided to work as a self-employed photographer. After years of traveling and return to Germany in 2013 he opened a photography school in Cologne, where he works today as a photo coach and travel photographer. His projects lead the avid Travel Photographer to exciting destinations across the globe. His photos caught the attention of renowned travel magazines. Among them National Geographic Traveler, Merian, Condé Nast Traveler and GEO. But also newspapers and magazines such as Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, the Financial Times, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides and Wall Street Journal publish his pictures.
